Ability to assing license for a feature to specific user

Originally from ticket #373.

Hi

Is there any option to assing licenses for specific features to users directly?

For example, if I have 7 users and 10 licenses for sprint backlog and 5 for product backlog I want to assign the licenses for product backlog only to those users who need access to product backlog.

Can this be achieved?

    Hi Zvonko,

    This is not possible for the moment. We do have stories for a system that will improve the management of users in Urban Turtle 2012. You should see these features get deployed over the course of the next months.

    Thank you for the clarification. I think if you have such granular and flexible license options user management is a must.

    And please, keep it simple... Simplicity is one thing I like a lot when using Urban Turtle. :)

    Oh, another thing...

    Is maybe a way I can assign licenses in current version (4.3) manually? For example in a configuration file or something?
    You see, I don't want people to consume license if they are not eligible to...

    Hi Zvonko,

    Dominic, the product owner is planning to look into how users are managed in Urban Turtle at the end of summer or the beginning of fall.
