Delete a task

Hello, 

Is there a way to delete a Task either while on the Planning Board view or
while on the Task Board?

    Hi Sandy,

    It is possible to delete a work item from both the Product Backlog and the Sprint Backlog by clicking on the trash icon usually located on the right side of the card. However, the work item must have a valid transition to the Removed state in the working process template, otherwise, the trash icon will be grayed out.

    EDITED TO ADD (3/25):  In Urban Turtle 2010, the work item must be dragged to the trash located just beside the iteration and area tabs in the planning board. Depending on the working process template, it is possible that the recycle bin feature is not enabled. There is an an article that explains how to do it for the MSF Agile process template.
