Manage Work Interuptions and Time logging

On the Urban Turtle to tfs there is a feature called 'manage work interuptions on a separate board'. Can you elaborate more on this? I am looking for ways to track overall time spent on projects and non-productive time. It isn't clear how to track non-productive time with Urban Turtle.
